Press release: Belektron invests in Vertis

Belektron, one of the leading independent wholesale traders in the EU ETS, has taken a significant stake in Vertis Environmental Finance.

The aim of the transaction is to support Vertis in expanding the business and improving its services to clients across Europe. James Atkins, chairman of Vertis, said: “As a pioneer in emissions trading, Vertis continues to believe that markets have an important role to play in the transition to a low carbon economy. Teaming up with Belektron allows us to step up our investment in people, systems and products to better serve our industrial and aviation clients.
