EUA prices have reached highest yearly values, almost touching 27 EUR/EUA today. While this may be negative news for compliance buyers that will have to pay higher prices, a lot of options activity on strikes above 30 EUR/EUA in the recent weeks suggests that some larger players were positioning themselves for a move higher.
