EUA prices are not backing down and keep moving near the highest yearly values. The fact that prices managed to stay high even after a very weak result of yesterday’s auction is signalling that we that we may have further room to move even higher. On top of that, Tuesday’s announcement of European Commission that Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein will start auctioning EUAs this summer and thus bring more supply to the market did not rattle participants much.
