EUA prices rose in the past week due to three day pause in EUA primary auctions. Public holidays from Thursday to Monday influenced supply side of carbon market and EUA prices reached two month high at 5.22 EUR/unit. On the opposite, CER prices drifted a couple of cents lower and settled at 0.23 EUR/unit. Tuesday’s trialogue talks over post-2020 EU ETS reforms have been postponed by the European Parliament due to its lead negotiator Ian Duncan being unable to attend.
