EUA prices are breaking yearly records as other power markets resume their upward trends. Prices touched 6.50 EUR/unit on Tuesday in a move which has caught many traders completely off guard. EUA auctions volume in September doubled since August and historically this led to some price declines, but first week of September is setting up for the highest weekly gain so far.
