EUA prices keep moving higher and are already up over 25% for the year. Some analysts have warned that EU ETS members that are about to receive their free EUA allocation could sell some of it to gain some extra funds. As prices have doubled since last year, utility operators may perceive this as an opportunity to sell at a high price.
