EUA prices have reached the highest value since March on a reduced auction volume, but could not hold the gains. German power supported the rise in carbon with prices moving above 32.5 EUR/MWh for the first time this year. Analysts are already increasing their long and short-term price predictions but with half of August already behind us, market may slowly start preparing for the upcoming increase in auction volume in September.
