EUA prices kept moving up last week and have gained over 25% since the lowest price reached last Monday. Strong up move has surprised many participants, which could suggest that the market sentiment does not support current prices. There is still risk that in case of a hard Brexit, UK emitters could put pressure on EUA prices by selling their excess inventory.
