EUA prices reached their lowest level in four months yesterday; December 2019 contract fell to 24.30 EUR per tonne. Drop below 25 EUR attracted plenty of compliance buying and carbon rebounded back above 25 EUR by end of the day. Technically carbon market looks weak but many buyers are looking for opportunity to buy at lower prices so further drop seems to be limited.
