Last week of compliance period passed by with relative calm. Market was not moving much and closed at the exact same level as a week earlier. However, lack of any positive movement further strengthens the case of lower prices in the coming months. Sellers have been capping EUA prices throughout April as shown by a decline of around 2.5%. This was one of rare cases where prices did not increase during April and certainly quite different than last year where EUAs gained almost 19%.
